Contract of sale

All items displayed for sale on the website are currently in stock. However, there will be rare occasions when breaks in supply occur. If an item can no longer be sourced for the foreseeable future, it will be removed immediately from the online shop. Bijoux reserve the right to withdraw items for sale at any time. If an item is on reorder, “temporarily out of stock” will appear in the item description. If your website purchase coincides with a break in supply, this purchase will not be a contract of sale with Bijoux. You will be contacted by Bijoux and offered the opportunity to wait to purchase the item(s) of your choice when it arrives back in stock or cancel the sale. Your purchase will therefore not be contractually confirmed until you receive an email entitled “Order Confirmation”. If part of your order is not available, we will contact you for authorisation to make a partial delivery.

If you would like to purchase an item which has “temporarily out of stock” in the description, please contact us. We will be able to inform you when the item is likely to be back in stock.

Any item(s) ordered after 4pm will be treated as ordered the following working day.

Cancellation

You may cancel your order at anytime up to 7 days after your order has been delivered. If you wish to cancel please contact us on the above telephone number or by email at: returns@bijouxboutique.co.uk

You must return all items in the condition they were delivered to you.

You agree that we may cancel your order at anytime prior to confirming your order.

Delivery

Orders that can be satisfied from stock are normally dispatched within 2-3 working days after your order is placed / confirmed. If you order something that is not in stock we will email you and advise you a date when we will be able to deliver.

All delivery dates given are estimates and you agree that we will not be liable for failure to meet these estimated delivery dates.

You will be given a firm delivery date when you are sent an Order Confirmation.

Delivery Charges

Delivery is FREE within UK mainland.
Orders under £50 will be dispatched via 1st class royal mail or royal mail recorded delivery.
Orders £50 and over will be dispatched via royal mail recorded delivery, someone will need to be available to sign for this.
If you would like a delivery guaranteed before 1pm next day, please note that this will have to be sent by Special Delivery and there will be a charge of £5.00 for this service. To qualify for guarantee next day delivery you will have to place your order before 2pm (excluding Saturday and Sunday – any orders placed on these day that require Special Delivery will be sent on Monday to arrive Tuesday).
Northern Ireland, Islands and Scottish Highlands - When possible, orders that can be sent via royal mail will be FREE. If this is not possible and an alternative method of delivery is required this may incur an additional charge. You will be notified by email and we will require a return email to confirm that this is acceptable.

Once goods have left our premises, delivery becomes the responsibility of the Carrier or Postal service used. We cannot be held responsible for late, delayed or non-delivery of goods and will do all that we can to deal promptly and efficiently with any delivery problems customers report to us so that items ordered are delivered as quickly as possible.

In December please note that we cannot guarantee deliveries and we strongly advised you to request Special Delivery, to ensure they are received in time for Christmas.

Deliveries made to Europe and the USA will have a charge. They will be sent via Amtrak to arrive within 3 days.
Europe - £8.00 or £12.00 insured
USA - £12.00

These charges will be added when the payment is put through our system and will not be shown on the order

Returns

Must be made with 7 days – starting from the day you receive the item. Goods returned must be:
• Unused and carry all labels and tags intact.
• In any original packaging (this refers to any boxes or wrapping the item is sent in and not to the jiffy bag/box used by us to send your goods).
• Be accompanied by the receipt of purchase (we recommend you keep a copy of this receipt).
• The costs of postage or delivery for returns of this type are the customer's responsibility and the cost of return postage cannot be included in the refund. Please ensure the goods are suitably and adequately wrapped in appropriate packaging for returning to us (e.g. wrapping paper, bubble wrap, etc.)

Refunds

Refunds are made within 3 days of receiving the returned items, provided it is returned in a saleable condition. It may take a further 5 - 10 days for the money to be available on your credit card or bank account.

Defective or damaged items

In the unlikely event that you should receive an item that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible by delivering another item, replacing your order or refunding the amount paid. Privacy Policy

We promise never to sell or give your personal details to any third party.

Personal details are only collected when you make a purchase. Your name, address, telephone number and details of your order are stored by us. This information is kept in an encrypted form on a secure computer that is not accessible from the Internet. This information is used for the delivery of your goods and to let you know of any special offers we may have but will not be passed on to any third parties. By supplying us with your details, you are consenting to us using your details to let you know of any special events or promotions.

Security

Your credit/debit card details will be secure when transmitted via our website. The details that you give us are encrypted and sent across a secure connection. To ensure this security a padlock or key symbol will appear in the bottom of your browser when you are in the checkout area of the site.

Product Images and Descriptions

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the product images, colour representations and descriptions on our site are a fair representation of the actual products and colours, there may be variations in photos and colours from the products due to changes made by manufacturers, design and style changes, the inclusion or deletion of features, colour differences and other changes which we cannot be held responsible for. Also the settings of computer monitors, over which we have no input or control, can cause a visual difference in the way images and colours are shown. We cannot be held responsible for any perceived difference between the images and colours shown and the actual products. We also reserve the right to amend, change, or delete products listed on our site, and the way product images and colours are shown.

Pricing

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT and in British Pounds Sterling (£GBP). We welcome purchases from overseas and as the prices are displayed in pounds, your credit card company will charge you in your country’s currency at that day’s exchange rate. Local charges are not the responsibility of Bijoux.

We cannot be held responsible for typographical errors on this site, including but not limited to those including price. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions, product and price information without any notice being given.

Use of our website

All use of this website must be lawful and not injurious to any third party. You must not copy the content or images contained within these web pages for commercial purposes without the written consent of Bijoux. You must also not use this website in any way that undermines the credibility of the Bijoux site or Bijoux.

All the conditions above do not affect your statutory rights.
